Event Summary:
It takes more for a restaurant to succeed then just knowing how to prepare the perfect dish or serve the most trendy cocktail. Creativity is expected not only in the kitchen, but also in knowing how to market your brand, connect with the customer and of course bloggers who are critical to the social element of food/foodies online.

With traditional newspaper food pages shrinking, the industry has grabbed onto social media as the next great movement. Yet, although anyone can initiate a viral campaign, it does not mean it will spread. How do you share your story and stand out from the crowd? On August 31, 2010 we explored the future of food.

Who stands to benefit more, large brands or small business (mom & pops)? Which LBS offerings (Foursquare, Gowalla, Pegshot, Loopt, Brightkite, etc.) are most applicable for my agency or business?
